Overworking to exhaustion
Are you ever tired, I mean up till 4 work at 8, school after work gym after school reach home 11 then up till 4 with school work again ?
Yes? are you stressed? yes? well, i suggest you do what I should be doing and take a break.
Too much stress could result in physical problems, like heart disease, chest pain, high blood pressure, and an irregular heartbeat. Stress is known as “silent killer” because people do not take stress too seriously when it begins to build up.
Though a little stress is a good thing, if you do not give yourself a fix or break once in a while, your own body will force itself to take a break.
And nobody wants an unwanted break when they have things to do.
So what is needed is a Break, but what kind of break can you have if you don't have time and need something to take the bulk of stress away.... well there are a couple of things you can do.
1. Get rid of THE MOST STRESSFUL projects or work related things first thing in the morning.
by doing this first thing you have time to focus on the more interesting jobs or work as the day goes on and the stress won't be constantly on your back.
2. Take breaks frequently, but not to frequently because there is work to be done, I mean 5-10 minute breaks to take a breathe understand what you're doing and get it done the best fastest way possible. Don't sit down for more than 1 hour.
3. Get some friends at work that take your mind off of it, it's easy to sit in a room or cubical and trudge away until you go mental. Even if you had one friend to check up on you or talk to it would go a long way in getting some stress off your mind.
4. Learn how omega-3 fats in your diet helps reduce stress and boost mood
5. Get the full amount of sleep, I know that's really hard but if your assignments aren't due and you have finished most of your work, take some end of days to relax before you start again.
6. Regain control by prioritizing and organizing your time so that you can get the most our of your day and don't get distracted by trivial things.
7. Look for the humor in anything that looks bad because really all of that stressful work isn't that important one year from now when there are more things to do , so don't take it so seriously, but your best foot forward get it done and move on.
I hope you take control before it's taken away from you....
